Barrister Asad Ahmed was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln's Inn, London and returned back to Pakistan after completing his Bar-at-Law. He is based in Karachi where he is currently the Head of Chambers at H. Khairi Law Associates, one of the oldest firms in the country having been established in 1958. He was previously working with the Government of Pakistan at the Ministry of Law and Justice where he tenured as Associate Lawyer to the Federal Law Secretary.
Barrister Asad Ahmed is the son of Rizwan Ahmed, a highly reputed former Federal Secretary and grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service. Barrister Asad's paternal grandfather, Jamil Ahmed, remained Hyderabad's longest-serving Mayor; and his maternal grandfather, Justice (r) Haziqul Khairi, served as Chief Justice of Federal Shariat Court and Judge Sindh High Court.
